Does this sound reasonable and realistic? We are trying to find our way......first child off to college........trying to know which colleges to apply to using a balance of aesthetics(she prefers urban but a green traditional campus)and economics ( need fin. aid) and academics( undecided but interested in art, writing and history)and culture( laid back and middle of the road yet intellectual, fun but not party hardy!)Location within a few hours distance of Long Island and Connecticut(Southern part of New England)

Cool counsel and honest selectivity appreciated. Please do not add to list unless the school sound dead on for what we listed......we are trying to narrow not expand.

Thanks
