<p>i dnt get it. how do you get the pin number to check your status. does maryland send you a confirmation letter after you submit your application which has the pin number or what?? I am going to have a nervous breakdown. Actually I was sick whole of november december. i sent my application on 4 dec. i called the admission office and they said that they would accpet my app in the priority deadline. but i never got any letter saying that they got my application and i dont have a pin number to check application status or online decision.</p>

<p>does this mean they never got my app/ never processed it??
how did you guys get your pin??
please help!!!!! MD was the only school i had a chance in and if they never accptd my app i am doomed</p>

<p>Your PIN number is your birthdate</p>

<p>your SID is your SSN but since you're an international student, you'll have an alternative number that they're going to mail you.</p>

<p>pin number is your birthdate in the form of mmddyy so January 1st 1989 would be 010189</p>
