Help!Visit Rice University

I'm traveling alone to Rice University during Feb.and will arrive at Hobby airport,can anyone please tell me if that airport provides any shuttle or is there any public transportation can get me there?

Thanks!I appreciate that a lot!=)

The metro bus system does go by Hobby, but it requires at least one transfer. METRO - Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas has a nice trip planner tool. I believe that will work out to $2 each way.
A bit more convenient is one of the shuttle services. TexansShuttle and Airport Express will both drop you off at Rice. I believe it's about $20 each direction. From the airport, you don't need to make a reservation, just find their kiosk in the baggage claim area. On your way to the airport, you have to call them for a pickup.
And of course your most convenient but most expensive option is a cab.

thank you!Thanks thelonius!!!!

I have never been to Houston before,I heard some people told me the public transportaion isnt that developed,so I was a little worried about that.Thanks again=)

SuperShuttle is a great resource, too. They have a counter by the baggage claim. It's about $29.
