Hi, I'm doing ED to MoHo, and I was wondering if I would be accepted. Can someone please tell me what are my chances of being accepted?

UW GPA: 3.4
W GPA: 3.78

Ethnicity: African American

Activities:
National French Honors Society (two years)
French club officer (3 years)
Freshmen tennis team (1 year)
Model United Nations (4 Years)
Indian women's association (4 years)
TRI-M (music honor society) (3 years)
Science Club (1 year)
Worked in a chemistry laboratory in Paris as well.

My SAT scores aren't that great. I had a 590 in Math, 510 in Writing, and 530 in Grammar. Should I submit those? I wasn't sure as to if I should do that.

I also did an interview, and I thought it went somewhat well.

I will be honest. You don’t have the best chances. But there’s good news too- you don’t have the worst chances either!! MoHo’s average SAT score is between 540-630.
I’d say that your GPA is almost average or slightly below average for MoHo who’s average GPA is just about 3.5.
You have a few good activities but it doesn’t seem like you have been devoted to any. Most of them look like you were in for only a year or 2.
However, you are a minority. And while the idea isn’t politically correct, minorities are heavily recruited.
I’d say submit your SAT scores. Because they’re not bad for MHC statistics. Overall, MoHo is a target or slight reach for you. Best of luck!!

I think you have a good chance at Mount Holyoke. It looks to me like you were pretty devoted to your activities (3-4 years is a pretty long time). The lab in Paris will definitely count towards you. How long did you work there? NatalieMaeve is wrong about the average test scores; Mount Holyoke’s official average SAT scores can be viewed at the following link. Personally I wouldn’t submit them, but that’s just me.

So what are your grades like this year? Do you have an upward trend? How are your writing skills? I think Mount Holyoke puts a lot of emphasis on the essay.

Please tell me whether or not you get in. I’m applying to Mount Holyoke, too, and my stats are pretty similar to yours!
