chances at mt holyoke

HI
Im from New Zealand and want to go to MOHO for entry in 2007-2008 academic year.....What are my chances??? I have no idea!!!! Need some help from some people who know what they are talking about cause there isn't much help in NZ...

GPA: 3.6
Subjects: English, Art History, History, Statistics, Biology, Classical Studies
SATs: haven't sat them yet
ECs: 1st XI Soccer (9-12), Underwater Hockey (9-12), Peer Support (helping out new kids in the school), Leadership Training (10-12), Speech and Debate, Ball (prom) Committee, and I'm Deputy Head Prefect (like school captain)....

I have done volunteer work as well but extra curriculars/volunteer work other than sports aren't considered very important in NZ, the only thing universities look at over here are your academic results. Mine are quite strong I'm definetely in top 10%....But I'm not sure if colleges will understand what schools are like in NZ.....

and i forgot to say that I will be first generation, come from a public school, and a single parent family!!

Until you take your SATs, I can't give you a good estimate. Your ECs seem a little weak though.

Mt Holyoke is not terribly competitive for admission. If you have 2000+ SAT I think you'll get in. They love leadership and have a very nice leadership merit scholarship.

Mt. Holyoke is testing optional. It looks like a match for you.
