I have been trying to find the dates for freshman move-in and parents' weekend, but can't find them on the website. Does anyone know?</p>
<p>I am not sure either. But it is usually in August.

<p>august 24th - 28th of 2011 is orientation for freshman. move in dates vary according to dorm, and students will not find out their dorm assignments until middle of summer.</p>

<p>While the orientation is 5 days long, the move in dates were the first two days this past year. Half (decided on basis of dorm assignment) move in first day and the other half on the second day. Move in starts about 9 am and goes on until mid afternoon. DS was assigned the first day, was done before lunch and we went to Target. Went to some programs later on in the afternoon, I think. We stayed through the next day and did more program stuff. It was good to hear the Deans and the support services available etc. DS wanted us gone once he was moved in 
so DH and I went and drowned our sorrows in red wine reminding each other what a good job we had done in raising an independent young man :D</p>
