help! What to do about reccomendations?

I'm starting a new school next year my senior year which totally sucks! Any ideas on the best approach to get recommendations since I won't know any of my teachers like I did at my old school?

Or could I get recommendations from my previous teachers at my old school since I've known them for three years?? Or do colleges prefer recommendations from the school you are attending when you apply?

I don't know what colleges prefer, but I would say just explain your situation to the teachers you wan't reccomendations for and see what they say! good luck

get them from your previous teachers.

get them from your junior-year teachers at your old school. they knew you better and still taught higher-level courses

Email your teachers from your old school and ask for recommendations. However, if you manage to be on good terms with a senior year teacher before the deadline, you could still ask them for recs.

I agree with the above; don't ask for recs from teachers you don't even really know.

Ok thanks everyone for your input

Be careful, a lot of colleges don't ACCEPT recommendations from teachers who have only taught you in your senior year because they don't know you well enough. Even if you try to know one of them quite good, 2 months is not enough to them to know you very good.
