[HELP] What to pick for phase I and phase II

Hi guys, I am currently a freshman and I am think of taking these class for spring.
inside the parenthesis i will include the reason that i have for putting it phase 1.
I am think of being a MCB and a psych major

Chem 3A and 3AL (MCB pre re.)
Sociology 3AC (psychology major pre-re, only 130 seats and only 50 are left AHH)
Math 1B (needed for MCB, may need specific time)
French 1 (language class, need specific time, really really want to take it!!)

so basically my question is that, which class should i apply for phase 1? I am thinking of putting chem 3a and sociology 3ac since they are the most important one for my major. And just wish that i can get into math 1b and French 1 during phase 2 (which is on Dec 1). If i can't get into french, maybe it's not mean to be i guess. sigh.

Thanks a lot guys. :)) Any advise regarding telebear or ON MY SCHEDULE/CLASSES in general are greatly appreciated

Don’t give up on French. My French 1 section was extremely oversubscribed in the first few weeks but by week 2 or 3 it had dropped below maximum. And more people dropped in the following weeks too.

thanks. I really hope that I can get it. I signed up math 1B and sociology for my phase I. In case if anyone is wondering. Because I really want to get a particular professor for math 1B and sociology just has soo little seat left.

Hopefully i can get in to French 1. Also, do you think it will be hard for someone who has no previous French experience??? Thanks for the reply  meakame You really make me a lot better

I’m leaving math 1b until adjustment, heh. Everything else is more important, unfortunately. And I’m not taking Aganagic so I think it’ll be ok.

I had no previous French experience before taking French 1. It’ll be strange the first few days because they jump straight into French, no English at all. But the teachers for French 1 are all really great actresses/mimes so you’ll get what they want you to do  Just try not to skip any lessons and don’t be afraid to screw up when the teacher asks you to speak. And do all the Student Activities Manual exercises for the chapter before the chapter quiz. Those are the ones that really helped me remember all the French phrases. Bonne chance! :D
