Do I have any chance Harvard? I'm pretty sure I want to study engineering.

I agree; Harvard's engineering program isn't bad, but it's not like MIT's, Stanford's, Caltech's, Michigan's, etc..

Everything else is high up there, and I know they were pumping money into their engineering department last year (so it's going somewhere), but it isn't at the MIT caliber, not yet at least

ud probly get a better rep with an engineering degree from a school like case western reserve or georgia tech...harvard not well known for engineering

yea you're right. but do you think i have a chance? just to go to harvard undergrad

I think you have a shot

you're scores and grades are fine, but the only thing I'd be concerned about would be making yourself stick out of all 25,000+ applicants... your research in a lab for a professor at a local university is very good, though, so that'll help; and the companies/charity should help.. there's not guarantee, of course; it's all up to the adcoms

none of us here can give you a totally accurate idea of what your chances are; I say apply, wait, and hope; you've got a chance, IMO
