Help! Where to study IR?

Help me decide. I’m either going to apply to William and Mary or American early decision. I love international relations. I love William and Mary, but I know being in DC would give me more internship opportunities. However, William and Mary has a semester in DC program. WHat should I do?

If the job opportunities and career outlook are about equal, it’s William and Mary hands down. Are the job outlooks and opportunists similar?

If possible, visit both schools. William & Mary is more of a suburban/rural town feel, while American is in a big city. You might like one feel more than the other. Both schools are great, but it comes down to how you would feel at each school.

I love William and Mary. I’ve visited both. My only concern would be that American may have better internship oppurtinities @yonceonhismouth

I don’t think you’ll find internship opportunities lacking at W&M- the career office seems to be good at helping undergraduates find internships

My advice, if you love W&M, apply there.
