Hi! So I just got rejected and I'm appealing to UCLA and UC Berkeley

Here are some quick stats
GPA: 4.5 uc gpa; 4.0 uw (unless you count 1 B i got freshman year than it's 3.98)
SAT: 2100
varsity tennis 4 years, jv track 3 years
President of 2 clubs
Speech Awards

Anyway, I was pretty shocked to get rejected by both

From Berkeley website:
In the appeal letter, you must provide significant new information (i.e., semester grades, additional achievements) for us to consider. Please include your UC application ID number. Advise us of any change in your email address in case we need to contact you during the appeal process.

UCLA:
High grades received in the senior year, recently acquired awards, or an increase in activities are not a basis for the reversal of a decision.

Sooo I don't know what to appeal for, for UCLA... and still tryin to think of something.

But for Berkeley, I have straight As for first semester grades, 3 new writing awards, 2 new academic awards. I've discovered a new interest in an extra curricular activity (I've always wanted to try out for theater but was too nervous to and realized senior year was last chance and i finally did, and I loved it so much I'm going to continue all through college as an extra curricular or even take some classes) <btw, I don't know if this would be a good thing to add, what do you think?

I don't know if this would be "significant" enough, but even if I had some hardship or whatever, I have straight As all through out high school so it's not like that hardship effected me academically in any way...

any ideas, suggestions, or comments on what i already have???
PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
