Help with Cal Poly SLO application!

Hey guys. I’m new to CC so I don’t know how to use it. I have a doubt regarding international applications. I am an international applicant from India. I am unable to fill out the High School Preparation 1 and 2 sections on the undergraduate domestic application. The grading system used in my high school through 9th and 10th grades is A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2, E1, E2 and through 11th and 12th grades is on a 1-100% marking scale. None of these grading systems match with the grading system on the application form. Due to this, I am unable to fill in the accurate grades I have achieved and calculate my GPA. In the light of the impending deadline, can someone please guide me with how I should proceed with the application, ASAP

The instructions on the first page of CSUMentor include a section labeled “INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICANTS” and it says:

“If All or PART of your education was completed outside of the United States DO NOT list the courses from the international school on your application. Only list the courses taken at the United States school.”

And, it seems to tell you what to do, i.e.:

“After submitting your application, send an e-mail to admissions@calpoly.edu. In the Subject Line of your e-mail type ‘International Applicant’ and your last name e.g.: (Subject: International Applicant - Smith.) The e-mail should include your full name, date of birth, and information about your foreign education (name and location of school, dates of enrollment.) If possible, please e-mail us a copy of your unofficial transcript. Cal Poly will respond to your e-mail within two weeks and will provide information regarding your specific application requirements.”

I am confused about whether today November 30, 2015 is your deadline, or if you have until March 1, 2016. Since you seem to be applying for undergraduate admission, I think it’s today.

Good luck.

Thanks a ton! I feel incredibly dumb for not noticing that entire section lol

Ha. No worries. We all have those kind of days.
