Hello! I am currently in my last year of high school and its about that time to apply to colleges.
I am currently taking eight class seven of which are IB
Cuml Gpa: 3.3
Act: 20
Sat: 1140
Extracurricular: E-Board Public Relation Officer (2 years), President of International, Track and Field (3 years) and Key Club Public Relations Officer (2 years)
I would like major in Marketing preferably in a rather large city. I’ve looked into universities in NewYork and California and found them to be too expensive. If anybody has any recommendations please share! growing up ive always been an outgoing and intuitive kid so I’m trying to find a school that would provide the most opportunities in correlation with my natural expertise (people).
I am male born and raised in Alaska, and ethnically Caribbean.
Your thread from October 10 is almost identical to the current one, and stated as follows:

Were you not satisfied with the answers that you got from the last time you posted?
We can’t really help much without a budget. If NY is too expensive (at $30k for OOS), then I gather your budget from your parents is $20k or less. How much are they willing/able to pay?
Boise State’s COA is only about $18K/year with the WUE discount, so that’s a particularly affordable option, with an urban setting in Idaho’s capital city. (There are stat requirements for the WUE discount but your GPA and SAT are just above the threshold.) Even in-state COA is over $20K at the others, so BSU might hit the sweet-spot for you as an affordable urban school.
Also keep in mind that wherever you go, you can look for internships and exchange programs that would allow you to spend time in cities where you couldn’t afford to be based all four years. For example, there’s the National Domestic Exchange program, which you could participate in from an Alaska university as well: https://www.nse.org/exchange/colleges-universities/alpha-location/
