I made the mistake of booking in Lexington because I thought I was going to drive to BU for a tour (10 am) Have since been told that this is crazy because of traffic . SO if I do not drive, what is best way? See that it is a $30 cab ride (times 2) to get to Alewife Station (looks like it would be difficult to drive/park there), then take Red line to Green? Seems like that will be a good hour too…suggestions? Thanks!

I would recommend that you post this on the trip advisor.com forum for Boston… They are experts, and helped me a lot when we were doing college tours!

no idea how to get to lexington or even where it is, but say you make it to alewife. take the red line inbound train to park street. transfer to the green line. get on a b train (green line) at the park street station and take it outbound until you get above ground. you can get off along comm there at whichever stop you need to.

Thanks, we drove, there is a $12 all day lot right by Admissions…easy drive, not much traffic.
