Help with Gen Ed courses for spring?

My son is a freshman STHM student at Temple, taking primarily GenEd courses his first 2 semesters.

He needs to select his Spring '14 courses soon, and is trying to decide on which GQ (Quantitative Literacy - - i.e. Math) and GS (Science & Technology) courses to take.

Temple has a new site where you can see teacher evaluations from previous students from previous semesters in all courses, but it really doesn't tell you a lot other than rating the teachers on a scale of 1 thru 3 in 4 areas.

We'd like to see some real evaluations of not just the teachers, but the various courses he is considering. Things like interest level, student/teacher interaction, amount of reading/homework, quizzes & tests, better or worse than average course, etc. Our son's been asking around, but hasn't been able to find out about many potential classes.

Anyone out there a current TU upperclassman or parent of one who can offer honest evaluations of any of the following GenEd courses & the professor who taught them?

Thanks in advance!
