Sidenote: My lackluster Freshman spring grades were due to the fact that my grandmother broke her foot over Christmas break so I had to spend a considerable amount of time taking care of her. I also had a bit of a breakdown, it wasn't pretty. My Sophomore fall Chemistry grade was due to a teacher switch we had in the middle of the semester and also some social tensions in my class that really aggravated me.
Also, my father is a Vietnam veteran and has considerable medical issues (he still can't get a full-time job because of his medical limitations.)
I am also a dual Swedish-US citizen, maybe it counts for diversity, I don't know.

So I have the following schools on my list:
UC Berkeley
Johns Hopkins (My mum went to grad school there)
NYU (Have gotten emails from them)
Boston University
Mount Holyoke (Have gotten emails from them as well)
Northwestern (Also emails from here)
Georgetown (idk about this one, might take off)
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Can anyone recommend any other schools? Preferably safeties? I don't want a party school, but I want a large or medium student body near a major metropolitan area. I plan to double major in Math and Economics and also want to pick up Russian. I also plan to go to a really good Graduate school to do MBA and JD/MA in Economics or International Relations.
I will not apply to USC, I have huge issues with that school, so that's out.

Grazie!
