Help with one question please?

I'm half American and half German, but I grew up in different parts of Asia and Central America. No one has applied to boarding schools from the country I'm living in now, I'm the first one according to the AO's at the schools I interviewed at. Do you think this will make the admissions process for me more competitive or less so? I have an A- average and my (practice) SSATs were fairly high, except for Math, but I know I can work on that. Do you think the SSAT scores will have a huge impact on my overall application?

Thank you so much!

The schools are ever keen to “add another country” on their brag page, so your exotic country of residency might get your application a second look. But it’s no guarantee of admission.

Thank you for replying :)
