<p>I sent in my SIR, on Saturday, and UC Irvine still hasn't received it. I paid by credit card, and was emailed the receipt,but I keep getting emails saying my SIR app was incomplete, and it says they haven't received it. Does it take this long to process or should I call the admissions office?</p>
<p>Yeah, you might as well call them. It doesn’t hurt you in any way. That’s odd, though. I thought my SIR last year was processed immediately.</p>

<p>When I submitted my SIR it took a day or two to get it processed. I also freaked out a bit when it didn’t go through right away. I think the process time is different for each person. But for safe measure, I do insist you call to make sure everything is alright.</p>
<p>It was around three days before they processed mine, and I freaked out a little. I wouldn’t worry about it, as long as you have a receipt 
If it’s more than a week before you get a “Positive SIR Received” email, I would call.</p>
