Help with the combo??

Ok. So I've been looking around several majors/careers that interest me. But this is it. 2011 is the year to make the choice. My current background is in law, so I was highly adviced to not make a 180° change.. and try something that could actually be enhanced by my previous knowledge.

I actually want to pursuit the PR/Corporate Communications path (although posts in CC suggest it's not the best choice), but with a twist. I'd like to work in an <international business=""> frame. So probably, I'd need to double major or minor along with the PR major. PR/Corp Comm geared to working for international offices/corporations or government/non profit org.</international>

Should I try PR+Management or PR+Intl Relations, suggestions please! As I mentioned before my background is in law (LLB degree completed, awaiting graduation) and I already speak 3 languages (english, spanish and french). I'm not sure if management is too much of a change and I should stay closer to home with Intl Relations (law, policy, etc).

If you know some other combo (which should include PR), please let me know.. and no, I'm not a numbers person (so engineering or similar options are out of question for me).

THANK YOUUU!! :)

Either go with PR/Communication + Business or PR/Communication + and Area Studies major, e.g., Latin American Studies, European Studies, etc. If you do area studies, you could take some econ and business courses as part of that. You already have language skills, unless you want to pick up an additional language.

Hey zapfino!
Yes, I though so too. But, I read somewhere that IR help in IB jobs and probably lead lo lobbying or public policy… in that way PR/Comm+IR would actually use my prior knowledge in law. I think IR programs include some area studies (not sure if all do, though) and you can take classes in econ anyways (not sure business).
