Hi.
I got a 34 on the ACT and an 1810 on the SAT. Should I still retake the SAT?

If you plan on taking any SAT II's, colleges will see your SAT I score along with them. If you can get a 34 on the ACT, I'm sure you can improve that SAT score. 34 ACT roughly equals about a 2280 SAT. You should be able to get at least a 2100-2200, though.

I wouldn't retake the SAT, as colleges only consider the highest test score that you submit. They won't care about your SAT score if you have an ACT score of 34. Good luck.

Ditto what whitesox24 said.

your ACT score is great. Use the time to prep for your SAT2's instead. The only exception I can think of that you might want to retake the SAT, is if you are in the running for National Merit Semifinalist. Then you need to retake the SAT and get the score up to above 2000.

^
That's for the PSAT. I'm pretty sure you can't get National Merit Semifinalist through the SAT.

no. they then use SAT grades to further weed people out, cosine.
