Hi..I'm from Pakistan..I have really messed up my school annuals for A1 (which will be the basis for my expected grades to universities)..I'm not expecting an A in any subject except chemistry..my subjects are phy, chem, bio, maths and eco..now if I score all As in my half yearlies and score nicely on SATs thn where do my chances of admission stand? I'm planning to give my maths A levels this november to make up for the hiccup..I have 9 As (7A*s and 2 As) in one sitting in my O Levels..pls tell me that do i stand a chance of making it to a good university this year?

btw by this year I mean the class of 2017…

what colleges are you looking at… This literally gives no information as to what your interests are

How do you define “good university”?

Are you going to be applying for need-based financial aid? Because that makes it significantly tougher to get in when you’re an international student.

well I know that my chances for IVs are now second to zero…well now I will be looking at UCLA, Berkeley, northwestern etc…I have a pretty decent ER record…I have been declared the 2nd best speaker in my district by Government…I stood second in an All-Pakistan Bilingual declamation competition…I stood first in a space settlement design competition at World Space Week in Pakistan…I’m my city champion of Table Tennis…I will represent my Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition by NASA( we were last year’s runners up) …I’m the General Secretary of my school’s science society…I’m the Operations Head of a non-registered NGO under which we are funding the education of 16 students in different schools and colleges…now with 3100+/3200 in SAT subject tests and 2200+ in SAT…what are my chances of making it to Berkeley, UCLA or northwestern type unis…but my expected grades would be poor…I’ll be applying for financial aid too…now where do I\my chances stand?
I’m hoping to ask my school administration to allow me to improve my grades by reappearing in my annuals and improve my grades…so in both scenarios…one with poor expected grades and other with an All As as expected grades…what are my chances?btw I’ll be applying for engineering courses…
