help!

I applied to 9 schools (!!) and wish I had applied to completely different ones because I feel like I won't get into anywhere other than where I have been accepted already. I'm hoping that someone will know anything about these schools or my chances at the ones I am still waiting on because I am deciding if I want to apply anywhere else. I also decided that I wish I applied to more schools down South because I hate cold weather, even though I LOVE the city!!!! and I just got waitlisted at Elon where my sister is a freshmen.
I probably want to major in communications/journalism
ok heres my 'stats'...

and a few more.... nothing big

I applied to Fordham (NY), Emerson, Gallatin school of NYU (I know its A HUGE REACH, i am not even expecting to get in AT ALL but I just wanted to apply because it is my dream school), Goucher (MD), Elon (NC), DePaul (IL), Flagler (FL), and URI (right next door!)

I was
- accepted to DePaul, URI, and Goucher.
- deferred at Fordham and Emerson
- wait-listed at Elon
- REALLY hoping to get into Flagler but apparently it has a really low acceptance rate :(

anyone out there know anything?

Unless you happen to get into Fordham, Emerson, Elon, and Flagler, take DePaul; it's the best of the bunch.

I'd say Fordham is your best bet for journalism.

Oh sorry...I was thinking of DePauw...not DePaul. Yeah, Fordham is the best.

i'd pick emerson for communications and internship opportunities/connections

Although emerson seems like a completely fabulous school, I don't think its right for me. I definitely want to explore more that just journalism and communications throught my college career, and it seems like that is pretty much what they offer.

I've visited all the campuses except for Flagler... which I REALLY want to go see, but I can't afford it/ don't have time right now :(

Goucher and Flagler are probably my top choices as of today. I love the study abroad/international aspect of Goucher... and the idea of a warm, sunny, beautiful campus (Flagler) is REALLY appealing to me right now as its under 30 degrees here in New England!! Flagler also seems like it has great progams for me (both communications and intenational studies, although no languages other than spanish :( ) Fordham is up there on my list too. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope to get into flagler and fordham, since I'm already into Goucher.
