Thank you guys for the money help! I’ll definitely look into it.
@intparent: I appreciate your helping me out, but maybe you could suggest some schools based solely on what I’ve given you and I’ll do the rest of the college search stuff myself. GWU is not strong enough or competitive enough in its business school, and UMass Amherst has nothing that I want. Dickinson has the programs I want, but compared to the other schools I’ve looked at, it just didn’t feel as good as say Bryn Mawr or Haverford or Swarthmore. Not saying I’m applying to any of these, I just need options to look at.

Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore are all higher ranked than Dickinson, and are more selective. But you would be likely to get more merit aid at Dickinson than at any of those. I don’t think Swarthmore or Haverford even give out merit aid. I think Bryn Mawr does give merit aid however, since I know someone who was offered a decent merit scholarship from there.
I did a quick search and found this on Haverford’s website:

So, if merit aid is necessary for you, you will need to apply to schools with a broader range of selectivity, than just limiting yourself to the Top 40 LACs. Getting accepted to a college won’t do you any good if you can’t afford to attend it.

You seem delusional travelhound… you aren’t getting merit aid with your stats under the criteria you described. GWU is not strong or competitive enough in its business program? Why isn’t it?

This has become completely unhelpful. Instead of giving valid suggestions I’m just hearing what I’m not doing. If someone actually has constructive help for me, that would be great. If not, please abstain from saying anything, because this thread has been up for 9 days and after 22 replies, I’ve gotten about 4 or 5 schools that I haven’t looked at yet. @sacchi, thanks for that input. I’ll look into Haverford more.
@Vikingboy11, that was really unnecessary and unhelpful. And here you go about GWU: <a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?. it’s #59 this year, while NYU is 14 and University of Richmond is 16. Now many say that rankings aren’t everything, but when looking at schools quantitatively, rankings are an important factor. Overall, GWU seemed like a dream school, but I want to explore other schools not just for their business program but for their study abroad options, student orgs, etc. Also it’s really expensive, and driving or flying down 4 times a year will be expensive too.
Constructive comments much appreciated.

I know I’m late to the party but maybe Rutgers? We particularly liked the Douglass Residential program for women and they have many excellent programs at the New Brunswick campus. My DD crossed it off at the end because we live in NJ but the FA was good and the location is good. Great writing program, law school, business school and great sciences. It is very large though.

Rutgers is in many ways similar to U Mass Amherst - both are well-regarded large public flagship U’s. But Rutgers will be much more expensive out-of-state, and I don’t think Rutgers gives much out-of-state aid.
