I am an international student from Ghana. I got 1080 on the SAT I. I am well-rounded and have excellent grades and involved myself in a lot of extracurricular activities. I was first in my class and participates in the national science and maths quiz. The weakest part of my application is my SAT score.
Please which schools will likely give me a full ride scholarship?

none

Agreed. None. If that 1080 was for all three sections…or even two…of the SAT, you should be more concerned with whether you will be accepted.

Here is a thought. Look for some humanitarian group in your country that has established a relationship for college exchange with a school in the U.S. There are such things. One of the colleges near us is setting up a program with the education ministry in Rwanda. This U.S. University will be accepting students sponsored by the Rwandan government for study in the U.S.

Maybe there is something similar going on in Ghana.

Think about it… if there were schools that gave full awards for those stats, the entire world would come here for college.

You should try to apply the test-optional schools. See <a href=“ACT/SAT Optional List - Fairtest”>http://www.fairtest.org/university/optional. However, I’m not sure if those schools would give full-ride to international students.

thumper1 thank you.
I am from Ghana.
My total score was 1600.
I got some good offers last year from stetson, hofstra, rocky mountain college and a lot more.
I got into rollins and charleston too.
So i think schools with below this groups caliber will offer better scholarships.

Maybe…but more likely schools below the above don’t have the money to give and/or don’t give to int’ls. You are assuming that schools below the above group have the same amount of money…they don’t. The lower you go, the less money the school has.

How much did the above schools offer?
