help!!

i really screwed up... i failed my sophomore year and i'm doing really bad this year (i'm a junior) well this quarter i'm doing better hopefully i get a 4.0... but anyways
how much does a really strong senior year and good test scores count for if i completely bombed jr and sph years? oh for colleges

i'm not going over my head looking at really competitive schools (UMASS, Becker College maybe, Kean University) stuff like that those are in preference order...

i'm getting a 3.0 right now

Do you have any good extracurriculars?

Get great recommendations and write great essays. Because with the GPA, high scores indicate the "lazy smart-kid," whom no one wants. Strong extracurriculars will boost your chances, but not many colleges weigh ECs too much. Cramming in volunteering and clubs will NOT WORK. Also, practice for your interview, because colleges weigh personal qualities (but I bet you knew that already.)

You still have time for the recs, essays, and interview preparation.
