Help!

hello-

This has probably been answered in a previous thread..but I can't find it right now so here it goes:

If I took both the SAT I and the ACT but did better on the ACT, should I self-report my SAT I score on the app or not? I know that when I send scores from collegeboard, USC is going to see everything anyways..so..I don't know.

Thanks!

or any other university for that matter

(1) How many times did you take the SAT I?

(2) What are your ACT and SAT I scores?

(3) Did you take any SAT II's?

Based on what you've said so far, I'd say just send the ACT. But if the scores are close, I'd say send both. Also, SAT II's can be important if you did well on them.

I'm sending SAT II scores for sure..so my SAT I scores will be sent regardless. I was just wondering if I should self-report my SAT I score on the online app...cuz my ACT score is a lot higher..or does this not matter and I am being paranoid..

Since you're sending the scores via collegeboard, the colleges will see the scores regardless. I'd say go ahead and self report since you are already sending them there officially.

It really doesn't matter, though, since what scores you put on the app are unofficial by themselves w/o the scores being sent by actstudent.org or by collegeboard.

alrighty..thanks

how long does it take for colleges to receive scores sent via collegeboard? I mean if you list the four school codes, how long does it take to receive reports for the other few schools you're applying to as well?
