help......

hey guyz,
I'm about to finish from high school in Nigeria. My father wants me to school in the US but he wants me to wait for my younger sister who will be done in 2 years.
He then wants me to go to england and start school until my sister is done and then ill transfer to US with my sisters.
is it possible to transfer from england to US without starting all over again?
or do u guys have any other suggestions?
thanks

You will be hard-pressed to find an institution that will accept your British credits, unless you are attending Oxbridge or a university with a partner school in the US.

Research universities in the UK with a study abroad agreement with a university in the US. They will be more likely to accept the credits.

Otherwise, it really depends on what school you’re going to. If it’s a school that isn’t well-known or isn’t up to par with the American institution, I wouldn’t be surprised if none of your credits transfer.

Why not stay in the UK? You’re going to be nearly done by the time you transfer anyway. In the UK, university is only 3 years, while in America, it lasts for 4.

If youre set on coming to the US, thats your best option
