<p>okay so i am a high school student on my senior year and i want to become a pharmacist
i had a set plan
to go to a jc for 2 years , then go to UC berekely for 2 years and get my bachelors degree ,so that i can ultimately get accepted to UCSF which is the best pharmacy school in the nation</p>
<p>but everyone is telling me not to go to a jc because its a waste of tiem and i wont be able to transfer in 2 years
and i just found oout that UOP has a 5 year program! but its to late to apply and its too far anyway
and i cant go straight to UC berekely because i probably wont get accepted straight from high school
my gpa is around 3.5 and SAT score is around 1600
andi am blackk which i know is an advantage
others have told me to go to a CAL state for 4 years then transfer to UCSF but i think im going to have a higher chance of tgetting accepted from UC berekely because both of them are UC's and they are both in san fransisco
soooo... i thought i had this perfect plan but everyone is making me hesitant
and is it a waste to get my bachelors degree? because 98percent of the people that get accepted into UCSF have their bacelors degree
people may be wondering why do i want to go to UCSF badly
because its the best pharm school , and i honestly dont want to work just as a retail pharm.
i want to go far in the pharmacy industry.......
so isnt it true that i will more likely have a better job if i transfer from UCSF because everyone keeps tellin me why waste 3 years if you can go to UOP....
and the problem is its already november and i havent applied anywhere because ive decided im going to a jc
so pleasee help, it would be highly appreciated</p>
