Hi all,

I'm a transfer student who recently got accepted to both of these great schools. I only have financial aid from Hendrix thus far, and it was very generous, but Centre seems to have a great FA policy as well so I sort of anticipate receiving something similar. I'm visiting Hendrix on Monday but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford to visit Centre as well. Has anybody here been to both of these schools or heard anything which might help me differentiate between the two? I'd really appreciate your help! I'm a theatre major, by the way, who would like to double major in English. Thanks!!

Hello, pretzelbreaker. My DD graduated high school in 2006 and considered several schools. In the end, it came down to Centre and Hendrix, both offering good scholarships. In less than a month, she'll have completed her second year at Hendrix and couldn't be happier. It is, without doubt, the perfect school for her. She is a double major (Social Justice and French) with plans to go to law school. She is involved in numerous activities on campus and is a student worker in the office of admissions. As a member of HEAT (Hendrix Experience Ambassador Team), she leads campus tours and often hosts prospective students. I know she would be happy to communicate with you, if you like. IM me if you're interested and I'll get the two of you in touch. Good luck with your decision. Centre and Hendrix are both excellent schools and you couldn't go wrong with choosing either. :)
