HEOP/COSEP = AUTOMATIC deferral????

OKay...so....I checked off the box where it asked if I wanted to be considered for the COSEP program (the one for out-of-state). Coneone on the Cornell board mentioned that doing so would result in automatic deferral, since the HEOP/ COSEP board has to evaluate your app during RD.

Someone who is in this program and got in ED..tell me this is not true.

If not, I'll call the office tomorrow and put an end to this rumor for everyone.

I'm pretty sure that I checked that box, and I'm pretty sure I still got accepted right on schedule.

woot! Thanks Ray

okay, I called them. The lady on the phone laughed when I asked her...I feel stupid now for being so gullible -__-""

What's HEOP/COSEP ???

I def. saw that in a previous thread, that's why I asked!

I applied EOP and I got deferred ED.

do you think the reason you got deffered was because of the EOP?

I applied for EOP (ILR) last year, but they said I didn't qualify for the program.

did you get into ilr?
