@anniehhh Wow really you getting the interview this early? I really thought they were only doing it for ED2 kids for now. I guess they mixing both the ED2 and RD kids together.

I don’t think they are mixing the ED2 and RD kids. I applied for ED 2 and had the interview Jan 30th, and they told me I will be getting the decision on Feb 15th.

@Nothingmean00 one of the advisors from HEOP told my friend last friday that they were still sending emails. But was the 30th their only one for ED 2 ?

@daniishere I don’t think so because only like 25 people were at the info session but hundreds of students apply to the program. What are your stats? maybe you’re overqualified

@Nothingmean00 I wa suppose to be consider for cstep and heop is the one that sends the emails though for interviews since Cstep is apart of HEOP. I’m not that impressive so that’s why I was so sure I was going to get an interview. Since cstep is for kids for miniorties and the grade standard is lower but want to do STEM or sicence related field (which is what I wanna do and I’m Latina)

-Well I got a 1040 on the sat which is why I thought I would be considered for cstep

  • My gpa is a 91 (3.8)
  • my class rank is 9
    -I’m in honor society, NYPD student council, NYU LPP program, anime club, book club, glee club, fashion club.
  • got recommendations from 2 people that works at NYU. One of them wrote one for my common app and other sent CSTEP a letter about considering me.

@Nothingmean00 I also gotten awards for student of the year from teachers, regent awards, the honor society award, and honor roll awards every year. However I don’t really think that’s anything special.

Yeah, I haven’t gotten one and my application is filled with errors so I’m nervous. This EOP/HEOP thing is weird tbh. Idk what they are looking for.
