@AllinGodsHands I know that HYSP Office is totally separate from the normal admissions office. They don’t see anything from each other - admissions didn’t even know when semifinalist decisions were released.
Also, does anyone know how many people apply and how many semifinalists are selected? I found the number 100 semifinalists out of about 800 applicants, but that’s from, like, 2011. I was curious if anyone had a more recent numbers - I feel like the applicant pool has grown. Has the number of semifinalists?
My daughter is a finalist as well. KDMOM…do you know if parents attend any portion of the weekend. My daughter was a scholarship finalist at two other schools and both had a parents reception/info session. Congratulatiins!!!
