Ouch. This will make your top choices pretty difficult. Not familiar with the BS/MD programs.

I would say that although you seem to have a solid extracurricular resume, in order to be truly competetive for the extremely selective schools that you have mentioned you will certainly need to improve your standardized test scores, especially based on your description of your SAT II scores. Your rank may damage your chances unless you attend a very competitive and successful high school. Your GPA is average for each of these schools, so at this point each of these schools are moderate reaches with Vandy being the best chance in my opinion, but with improved test scores and excellent recs and essays you have a chance.

chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/935287-chances-top-tier-schools.html

I think she may have unusual family backgrounds that can get her into Ivies. Coming from a very opulent family helps quite a lot in applying to Ivies. Although I know that these schools claim to be need-blind to all students. Besides, a 3.8 GPA compensates for her not quite stellar test scores, to some extent at least.

But…One never knows! I do think you are able to get into an Ivy school (Probably not Princeton…), so keep up good work! :D
