<p>Hey guys I just wanted somebody to rate my chances of getting into Michigan, and if i am a competitive enough student to get into LSA.

<p>I like your chances. One never knows of course, but assuming you gave the essays serious thought, I think you have a good chance of getting in.</p>

<p>Did you start a business or invent something?</p>
<p>I would suspect that most applicants don’t do either of those</p>
<p>You better get in anxxghost. With the brain drain in this state, we need excellent students to attend Michigan and stay here after graduation! </p>
<p>I would say a very safe match billscho. Being a resident really helps. Michigan is nobody’s safety, but for in-state students of the OP’s caliber, Michigan is close to being a safety.</p>
<p>^ I do think so too but I won’t use the term “safe”. It should be a low match assuming the course rigor is fine.</p>
<p>How different would chances be if he was out of state? From New York, for example</p>
