Hey guys. New here. Would like to know my chances at Fordham.

<p>Alrightey I'm a white guy applying to Fordham:</p>

<p>GPA: 79.5/100 (wack i know but I'm def. getting it over 81 by Jan.)
SATS: Combined - Cr. 650 Math. 670 Writ. 690
High School isnt ranked</p>

<p>Activities:
Ballroom Dancing (huge):
-Group Leader
-Student
-Competitor</p>

<p>Tutoring Kids</p>

<p>Work:
-Dad got me a job where he works for one summer: Dagher Engineering - they work with central air (air conditioning for big building)
-Dance tutor for over a year now
-Internship at my friends computer tech company</p>

<p>I can speak Russian almost as fluently as English and know some Ukranian</p>

<p>Also I have a bunch of dancing awards from competitions</p>

<p>So how are my chances?</p>

<p>work on your GPA, but otherwise your ec's and SAT's are on point.</p>

<p>I think it's easier to overcome low SAT scores than a low GPA, so you have your hands full with this situation. Can you show GPA trending up? Bad freshman year, other situations that account for a bad semester or two?</p>

<p>You need to engage the admissions office. Essays, letters of rec, etc. are all going to be huge for you, so make sure they're perfect. Convince them you can thrive at Fordham.</p>
