OMG! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY! I don't know if you guys remember me I'm class of 2012, and just got done with beast.

All I have to say is that Beast was freaking tough!!!!

But once you finish it, you feel like the king of the world.

Oh yeah, hey everyone just to let you know I'm going to be creating a website on my free time that gives you every information about beast.

It will tell you what you SHOULD REALLY BRING, what you will be facing, how you should be prepared, just tools that you need to make it through beast without hesitation. Because, I really messed up a lot on first couple weeks because I had no concept on military what-so-ever. But, I guarantee you this site will help you future Plebes that will be joining the gray line. Just wait like a month and this website will be complete. I will also put down the full exact daily basis schedule on Beast. I wrote down everything I did each day so that you future plebes can be prepared for the upcoming beast next year in 2009. Okay, anyways, peace out~

Seriously, congrats Petey. We got an email from our Firstie when she finished the March Back with her New Cadets yesterday (she was Beast One Detail). Great class motto!

Congrats, Peteyflow!!! Looks like you survived "messing up" alright. ;)

Think about what you'll put on your site. You don't want to be too helpful to the upcoming New Cadets. Sometimes making the mistakes is the most helpful way to learn the lesson.

Take a deep breath - the academic year starts now with a whole different set of challenges.

Petey - you may want to be a little careful about posting TOO much about beast. Some of it is meant to be a shock and surprise (think shock and awe) and may not be in the the best interests of the upcoming new cadets. I believe everyone will mess up - it's part of it.

Maybe you should let everyone figure it out...you know we'll help them w/ what to bring. Even if you bring it, they may not let you keep it. Case in point: someone said to bring compression shorts. My friend and I went and bought them for our sons. My son kept his for beast; her son had his taken away and stored. You just never know...it all depends on cadre. It all comes out okay at the end, so no worries!!

Peteyflow you are to be congratulated on finishing Beast and good luck on your upcoming academic year.

If I were you I would be careful about putting too much detail about Beast on the Internet. From time to time upperclassmen and upperclasswomen surf the net, read college confidential and look at the various blogs. A detailed account of Beast by a Plebe would, in my opinion, not be looked on with favor by your superiors. It might even cause you to receive some special attention if you know what I mean, which is not always welcomed during your plebe year.

I am not telling you not to write a blog or a diary about Beast, but I would be very judicious about every word you use...because what you say can and will be used against you. Better advice, chill out on the whole Beast subject and concentrate on the academic and military part of your plebe year. Good luck and congratulations.
