Hey everyone, my name is Nathaniel, I'm 18 from Israel.
Another three months I join the army for three years.
After my military service I want to study in the United States and now I'm starting to be interested in any subject.

Well...

*I will probably start school until age 22, I'll be fine as far as his name? ... I will be with children aged 18 ~, the difference in ages will be felt?
I will be in terms of age?

*Not yet chosen field of study but I want to study film, you can give me a couple of schools recommended to the movies?

*From what I understand to pass the SAT test, a test in English and essays about myself ..., there are other requirements besides?

*How the ratio universities soldiers, I know that Israel is not "hit" in the world, I can do about that problem?

*How's life on campus? One of the reasons transformer to study in the United States there is a change in atmosphere. How are averages of student life in America?

Thank you to all who answer and I hope my dream will come true

תודה רבה
Toda Raba

I think no one answered because your questions are basic, and can be answered quickly by using google or looking at school websites.

But here goes:

Yes, as a 22 year old former soldier, you WILL notice a difference between yourself and other freshman (first year students.) One way to deal with this is by not living in the dorms. Many big universities will have students of varied ages and it will be less of an issue there.

Best film programs: the best known ones are University of Southern California, New York University, University of California, Los Angeles; Chapman University, Northwestern University, Florida State.

Check each school’s website for the complete requirements.

I don’t quite understand your 4th question - are you asking whether being a former Israeli soldier would pose a problem for other students? If so, then I would say ‘probably not,’ Americans are actually quite open minded about these things, especially once you explain that military service is mandatory for both men and women in Israel. That said, expect open pro-Palestinian vibes at many of the more liberal and politically active campuses.

Life on campus varies from school to school. Again, use school websites, google and such search engines as princetonreview.com collegeboard.com to find info.

I think age is not the problem if you can act the same in the group of people
for me,I may look so young as for sure next year some freinds will think that I am study in the elementary school.

Your questions are very difficult to understand…
- The age difference doesnt matter a that much. Because the drinking age in america is 21, a lot of kids will probably use you to buy it for them. A good and bad thing. Other than the social aspect, no, your age will not matter
- The SAT’s have 4 sections. Reading, writing (grammar), math, and an essay section. The essay is about a specific question they give you.
Answered the questions that i could understand :). Tisch film school at New york university is a good choice as well.

thanks you very much…

well…i’m hope my dream will come true.
