alright Batman! Im taking 162a summer too with danielson!

haha-yeah you can take em separately. i hadnt realized there was a microbio req for ib too-i thought only mcb needed it in place of 112.

it’s not a req
but it’s only 3 units. fuuuking phail. I’m taking 131L for 2 units. I NEED 1 MORE UNIT. ARGH!!!

oh do you need 6 units for finaid? why dont you just take 162L concurrently? isnt that a 1 unit class?

but wow, that’d be a LOT of lab. i would die. or maybe pe?

yeah that’s why I wanted to take the lab in the fall haha. and the lab begins like the week after school and that’s a total no no. I guess I could look at pe…hm

what have you heard about this class?

well i dont actually know that many people whove taken it over summer. but from what i read on courserank, looks like its gonna be a fill-in-blank reader for lec, and then we just memorize it for tests?

it shouldnt be hard for you, what with having taken so many carlson classes, id think. i’m a little scared its gonna be filled with a bunch of hard-core mcb majors though and what that might due to the curve also, i dont know if this is purely coincidental, but why are there so many full grades of A, B, C but not so many half grades (A-, B+, etc)?

hell if I know. maybe he just doesn’t like -'s and +'s. I hope there’s not a lot of mcb majors. Nobody likes their snooty butts anyways ;)

amen.

(no offense mcbeeeesssssssssss) :)

Wait. If I sign up for extra classes, I can drop them without a fee yes? There’s only a fee if I drop all (either before or after right)?

yeah that sounds right. i think it was around $100 non-refundable reg fee, but you should be able to drop the actual class…i dont know how much it is this summer yet.

ohhhhh i see where youre going with this…are you going to just keep the class till you get the aid and then drop?? nice.

i hope the weather this time around doesnt suck as much. man i had high hopes last year, and that did not end well.

no I might end up dropping 162 (though I really don’t want to. Any chance to take a class with you is a chance I’d rather take ) But I’ve e-mailing around for potential one unit volunteer work over the summer.
That would be sweet if I could just sign up for a class and then drop it and still get the aid. lol I wonder if that would work…

awwwww booooooo!!! jkjkjk

how do you get units for volunteer work-is it like a univ-affiliated org or something? you could always try research for units too. gl mate
