Hey seniors! Are you taking any AP tests?

As much as I would love to, my parents refuse to pay $300 for AP test fees. :(

beware of typical paranoid CC-er question

Will my colleges rescind me because I didn't take any? I can't exactly be like, "Hey, my parents hate me so I'm not taking any tests. Sorry. :/"

I’m taking 6. Shoot me.

I’m going to study for 3.

I don’t think they will rescind. and yes I’m taking the following
AP Macro-studying
AP Micro-studying
AP Physics M-studying
AP Physics E/M-studying
AP calc AB-maybe studying
AP English-NOT studying
AP Envi Sci-DEFINTELY Not studying
AP Government-NOT studying.

My school allows people to miss class if they have AP tests that day, so I want to take them :)

AP Tests are ridiculously expensive.

I am taking four: Comparative Government, Environmental Science, Statistics, and Literature.

Nope, haven’t taken any since sophmore year 8)

Well, if you take the test and do well, you might be able to earn some college credits and place out of some classes, which might mean $1000 saved, and just $80 spent to do so.

You won’t get rescinded for not taking the tests. POSSIBLY if you don’t finish the class though.

I’m taking 3… Spanish and Stats (both on the same day!!) and Microeconomics.

Macro - Not studying, so easy
US Gov - Same
Calc BC - Undecided, not sure if I care enough and a 3 is good enough for the UC system to get credits.

Calculus AB, European History, and Biology. I’m only really uncertain about the Biology, as I’ve only been able to muster around an 85 average my school’s class all year, despite having fairly good knowledge of the material. I don’t know whether it’s fully the fault of the disorganized teacher I have or not, but I’m going to go over everything and attempt to get a 5.

AP Psychology - only paid 8 bucks for it.

ap psych ap calc

I’m taking seven. It’s slightly over $600.

Phys C Mech
Phys C E&M
Psych (self study)
Eng Lit
French (college class + self study)
World Hist
Chem

I thought you meant AP Studying or something. :P

Yeah, I’m taking them. I reckon I might get some credit somewhere.

$602 Millancad, wow. I hope it’s well worth it in the end.

uhhh hell to the no! Just gona be doing AP Calc B/C out of all the uber APs I’ve taken to keep my rank.
Besides my college doesn’t really count AP credit.

@ Millancad, the Physics C tests come together and only cost $86. (If your school isn’t stupid like mine :P)

^Really? Awesome!

(At least, that’s what happened to me last year. I paid the standard (inflated ) fee for one test which was recorded on the receipt as Physics C. When I actually took the test both Mech and E&M were inside the shrink-wrap.)

Macroeconomics
Government
Calc BC
Physics B
English Lit.
Statistics

$56 each.

They probably won’t rescind anything. Taking the AP class and taking the exam are not necessarily related; you still took and completed the AP level class.
