it sounds like a typical highg school- but don't be to quick to judge others- maybe at my school are exactly how you described the people at your school but theere are always people who aren't like that- you just have to become active and find them

ChaosTheory is the stereotypical Slytherin. lol.

Anyway, most of my peers are soooo sooo immature. I mean, yah, they make up all this huge things of drama that's not even there in the first place. As in: "I know I FUNNAH have SUM drama."

And then they are always in the phone with like 10 people about the drama. And then the schedule a fight.

I go to a "ghetto" school see....

Oh, so do I.

No one ever schedules the fights though, they just tend to happen.

It's so weird, it's like two people and then all of a sudden WHOSHBAM it's like the whole quad is fighting and you see me AKA the little white girl running for the hall. XD most of the white kids never try and fight because we know we'd get our butts handed to us.

No, that's not what I feel at all. I don't think I am better than anyone else. However, if you do have a deep interest in a subject, it is wise to get friends who won't be bored to death when you bring it up.

For ex. last year, I was so excited when I found out about this experiment these scientists were doing with Quantum Physics. They split a photon into two parts for milliseconds- it was super complex. It was a small step towards teleportation basically.

Anyway, it's futuristic and I thought it was super cool.

So I go and tell people, and no one cares. No one does. It's not that I feel I am better than them, but they don't care.

What about the politics I am so deep into?

No one cares about the need to privatize social security, no one wants to discuss our borders, nothing.

So obviously, it is better to hang out with people who you can talk to. I don't think it's worth it to pretend to be someone else and talk about some stupid show like Degrassi for you to have friends. It's way worse and it'll bore you to death.

And it's not like I put them down. I don't. People have different talents and interests and everyone is needed in society. However, it makes no sense for me to have to lower my standards in order to please someone else. Just like it makes no sense for them to increase their standards in order to talk to me.

And I don't think it has anything to do with "make up" or "hang out".... I make sure to always look pretty and do go out places you know... It's not like everyone who can be considered "intellectual" is a hideous geek.

Its true. In life as well ppl need to go with people who share their interests, not oppose them. It's like a Democrat joining the Republican Party and then supporting Hillary Clinton at a Convention....gutsy, but just plain stupid.

Whats bad about intellectual as well? Thats the only reason humans rule the world. If everyone was just a ghetto-person then I'd think we'd all be dead in a few years. Long live Intellectualism!
