Did anyone else receive the letter for Financial Aid completion? I'm sure there's no correlation between the FA letter and acceptance probablity... but is there? Who else got one, and who applied and did not?

i got one over spring break too. im not sure what it means, im guessing they just want the info they specified. it'd be nice if that brings us closer to acceptance, but who knows. whats your major/stats?

:-

I haven't gotten a letter from the Financial Aid Office other than the ones requesting my parents' and my tax returns.

What exactly does this letter say? Does it simply say that they have received all of your required documents or that your Financial Aid Eligibilty has been completed?

I submitted all of my required documents in early March and in OASIS it still says "Not completed" under "Financial Aid Eligibilty". I'm starting to believe that the Financial Aid Office begins to determine your financial aid statement once they know the student has been admitted. For those that got this letter saying that thier financial aid application has been completed, what is the status of your application in OASIS?

I don't think I've received anything about Financial Aid, but I definitely filled out the FAFSA. Should I be worried?

P.S. How do I get an OASIS account?

Every applicant has access to OASIS. Go to www.usc.edu/oasis and type in your USC ID or social security number and your password is your 6-digit birthdate.

Oh, cool... thanks.

On my financial aid summary, it says "Financial Aid Eligibility - Not Completed" and "Application for Financial Aid - You have begun the financial aid process." However, that's only of 2/22/05, so they're probably just behind.

The letter I received turns out to be word for word my FA status on Oasis. Am I the only one going nuts-er-ooos?
