Hey UCR, do that one more time, I dare you

I know you're the attention-starved red headed stepchild of the UC system, but if you email me one more time with "UC" in the title WHILE I'M ON PINS AND NEEDLES WAITING FOR UCSD it will get ugly. There is no need to email me useless updates and marketing crap when in doing so you cause my iPhone to vibrate and thus me to jump out of my chair in nervous anticipation.

Regards,

Grimes

just fyi, I never got an email from UCSD, so don’t expect one.

BTW, if you have like a 3.0 and completed the pre-reqs, I think you are in at UCSD, relax!

Great now you’re going to cause me to F5 the site even more than I already do.

I have exactly a 3.03, which is why I’m acting like a little girl right now. I can’t relax, but thanks!

I have the same complaint about UCSC. Every time I load my email I see like 3 emails from them and I freak out. No, it’s just more reminders about Transfer Day and Financial Aid and Why I Should Go There. :/

I understand your anxiety, but sorry… this is ridiculous. Don’t apply if you don’t want everything that comes with it.

Also, UCSD DOES NOT EMAIL. UCSD never sent any correspondence regarding admissions.

@sunnyseas: Calm down bro.

Not a bro  I think YOU should calm down! Haha you’ll get in just fine

haha just messin’ and trying to keep things light. Not kidding though, whenever my phone vibrates from an email I jump up like Jessica Alba just sexted me.

Set a filter for your inbox to direct certain messages to specific folders. I don’t know why, but I still get emails from the CSU system telling me happy birthday or to attend orientation. The thing is I only applied to one CSU in my life and that was SLO in HS. Yet I still get emails from Stanislaus and Dominguez Hills (I don’t even know where those are).

^Ugh same here. I sent an application to Pomona but I never paid the fee, so I don’t know why they still keep me in their mailing lists. Hahaha

haha I passsed a sign for Dominguez Hills on my way to LA last night, and I still can’t even tell you where it is.

I’m third or fourth- agreeing about the “don’t worry about email”.

I was first batch, no email.

i remember when i was accepted to ucr freshman status. they kept sending packets and emails…i was exactly in ur situation. hope things go well for you grimes

Thanks man!

I barely get any emails from them at all.

well if I do I sure as hell ignore them well.

UCR kept sending me emails well into the summer after high school graduation telling me to go to their school. the desperation is kinda funny
