Hi everyone, just wondering about scholarships.

My family has been going through hard times in terms of financial issues, and I was just curious as to how avid JHU is to giving scholarships out.

Now, I know that this may sound crazy, but my parents do have good jobs. The problem, however, is a certain turn of events which I'd not like to disclose.

If JHU does offer any scholarships, how much do they offer? Also, how much is the cost per year for JHU?

Also, I did google this info, but I'm just making sure that it's accurate (you can never trust the net these days).

Information about merit-based scholarships offered by Johns Hopkins University can be found here:
Hopkins Undergraduate Admissions :: Financial Aid :: Merit Scholarships

All accepted freshmen are reviewed for merit-based aid and there are no separate applications that must be filed.

Do note that Johns Hopkins offers only approximately 80 merit-based awards each year. Due to the low number of merit-based awards, competition for these awards is quite high. Only the top echelon of our admitted students in all application categories will be offered such awards.
