Hi,
I have never done this before, so please help if you can. I would like to ask a question about states that are the easiest to declare residency in for tutition purposes.
Thank you,
Tailz03

Unless your parents reside in the state you're going to school in or work transfers you to a branch in that state, you must reside in it for 6 months to a year before you attend college, depending on the states policies. Utah, Nebraska, Wyoming, are six months, most others are a year. Plus, they will ask for documentation like: voter registration, rental agreement, checking/savings accounts in state, car registration, state income tax forms, etc...

You can't go to a different state, attend school, and gain residency (while in attendance) for tution purposes. Sorry.

The easiest state is the one you currently reside in. So, get the tuition break there. Stop thinking of beating the system, this is U S of A.
