I'm a high school Junior.
Weighted GPA=4.7
Unweighted GPA=4.0

SAT=1800 (I plan to take them again and break 2000)
ACT=n/a

SAT II=n/a (but I plan on taking biology, math, and u.s. history)

EC's (so far)= 2 years of Academic Decathalon (placing all around best scores one year)
3 years of wrestling (2 of them var)
lowercase people 2 years
CSF 3 years
Leo's Club 1 year (a friend of mine and i started it on campus this year)

I have done a number of other activities related to my EC's that have essentially changed my life. Over the summer I attended and graduated from J Robinson's 28 Day Intensive Wrestling camp. I never had much community service (expect for 40 odd hours in wrestling) then i began tutoring for my public library teaching elementary school kids how to read and write and I am accumulating 50+ community service hours there.

I am a very goal orientated person. I am a leader in the classroom, the mat, and in my social group as well. i know this may not make much of a difference, but i do not stay home all day and study, I enjoy venturing outside and looking for adventure when i have time. sometimes i go to social gatherings in my city.

what are my chances to get into...

UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSD
UCSB
UCI
UCD
USC
Stanford
(yes i am a california residence)

I’m new, too. So, I’m not a good at giving feedback.

UCLA - Reach?
UC Berkeley -Reach?
UCSD - I don’t know (because one of my friends got accepted to Berkeley, but got rejected from here…but then the stats reported on sites like collegeboard shows that UCSD is easier to get in then UC Berkeley)
UCSB - Match?
UCI - Match?
UCD -Match?
USC - Reach?
Stanford - Reach?

Boosting the SAT I score would help and extra EC never hurts.

Chance Fellow Californian?
[What Are My Chances? College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/899461-chance-me-uc-schools.html)

Your grades are excellent, however you need to work on your SAT I a bit. Anything above a 2000 is fine for any of the schools you listed! (: Stanford is a bit of a reach, though, but everything else you’re all clear for (if you get your SAT up).

With your current SAT scores, I would say UCSB, UCI, and UCD are high matches, UCSD is a reach, and UCLA and Berkeley and USC are mid-high reaches, and Stanford is a high reach.

[: Hope I helped! Chance me?
