Hi Parents! Can You Help Me With a Transfer Decision?

Seems cheaper and easier (unless there is some unusual obstacle at Rochester) to simply select a course or two to repeat if needed to boost your GPA rather than transferring. See <a href=“Repeating Courses : Advising Handbook : College Center for Advising Services : University of Rochester”>Repeating Courses : Advising Handbook : College Center for Advising Services : University of Rochester; and ask your advisor. If your grades continue to improve and your test scores (GRE etc.) are good, you can always take an extra semester or two to try to improve your GPA and/or double major to make your profile more attractive to graduate programs (and consider transferring after a master’s degree from less selective program to better program if needed)… but in the short term 100% of your focus should be on continuing to improve academically in the courses you are taking.
