High GPA, low SAT score. What kind of chances do I have?

My unweighted GPA is 3.9 or so, and weighted is 4.55. My high school is public and isn't easy, but its definitely not as competitive as a lot of them out there. However, my best SAT scores are 640 for reading, 640 for math and 700 for writing (1280/1980). How would this be viewed by colleges such as Berkeley, UCLA or Brown? I think I measure up well to other competitive applicants in ECs and essays may even be above average, but the low SAT score has really got me worrying. Also I would be out of state for any of these schools, since I live in texas.

I am planning on taking the SAT again in December and also the ACT, but the UC application closes on Nov. 30. So I guess its mainly a question for the UC schools.

I’m in the same spot as you. I have a 3.91/4.0 unweighted GPA, but only a 2030 on my SAT
