What schools have a high percentage of undergraduates go into ibanking?

Penn.......

Well, obviously. What are some others?

Ross has a third going into the field. Not sure if that's a lot. Sounds pretty good though. Also not sure if they're all in NYC (probably not).

Where do you find these stats?

Stern has a lot going to ibanking, as well as McGill, but I'm not sure if McGill grads go to New York or Toronto and Montreal.

You can find them at the career services website of the school. Not all schools have an employment profile of their graduating classes, though. And a lot don't break it down for you by industry. Here's the info for Ross:

i'd say 32.8% of the class is quite a lot.

Does anyone know of some other schools with a high percentage going into investment banking, like UMich?

all the top business schools, and top econ schools.

"all the top business schools"

i know that the top econ. or top schools in general would get recruited but whats the "cutoff" for top business schools? any school can say o yea our undergraduate program is ranked in the top 25 or top 50....

Top 10 Undergrad Business Programs
and Top 25 national Universities in general
+ Baruch, Williams, Amherst and Wellesley.

heh wellesley hee hee my brother always complains that wellesley isnt THAT gud and that the only reason its "prestigious" is because its the most "famous" all girls school.

Top 10 undergrad bprograms? how do we determine that, from observing the threads/posts in the past, people have alot of disagreements as what schools should be in the top 10...

and i'm pretty sure baruch is not a top 25 national university -_-
and i think top 10 undergrad business programs is kind of stretching it. you don't really see much UNC and UT grads go into I-banking.

Top 10-11 by CC-Business Major forum perception.

how is this?

Possibly one of the most overlooked schools: McGill University.

I would say that's pretty impressive.

I am considering McGill, but I don't know much about it. Is it pretty respected in the business world? Are there good job opportunities in the US or elsewhere? Do you know what the university is like as a whole?

Generally, the Canadian schools are pretty good but cannot match up to the top American universities.

University of Toronto is generally considered Canada's most prestigious institution along with its business program. McGill is often the one that has more name recognition outside of Canada, however.

There are some McGill graduates in Wall Street, though the majority stay in Canada. Even if they don't, they are usually behind in terms of impressiveness of the top US universities and LACs.

is there a college named baruch ? what does it mean ?

Add McDonough to the list
