I am a senior this year and am considering High Point as a option for college. My plan is to do a premed track and major in exercise science. My concern is will High Point prepare me for graduate school and will High Point be able to get me into medical school. Any thoughts?
I would ask them about the rate of acceptance to medical schools. Personally, I would save your money and go some where that is better known for the academics.
Save your money. Go less expensive undergrad.
My D graduated last spring from HPU and is in med school now. Dr. Kelly Sapp was instrumental in helping her navigate the med school process. HPU prepared her tremendously for med school. She also did a summer research at HPU with biomechanics lab. Take the negative comments with a grain of salt. Good luck!
Find a better school. I know a student that graduated with honors form sports medicine and is struggling at Winston-Salem State in grad school.
Don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else that’s actually taken seriously.
