So I got my scores back and got an 800 on math but a 630 in Chemistry… I’m applying RD of course and I’m wondering what the best course of action would be. Just take the L on the chemistry part or retake it in January? I’m not sure how much I could improve but would going up to a 700 really help me that much? Rest of my application is nothing spectacular but decent. So I guess I’m just looking for how big of an issue this is and if I should retake it or not?
Retake it. If you look at the stats page they have the 25% of SAT Science as 740 so hitting that 700 would really help you. Did you study before? I would say buy one of the study books and spend a few hours and that would probably be enough. You could always take 2 sciences in Jan maybe you would do better in physics?
